Who holds your data
Digital Works holds the personal data described in this notice. In data protection law, Digital Works is the controller, which means it decides why and how that data is used.
This notice covers the website www.digitalworks.ie and the emails Digital Works sends and receives. It follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

- EmailsYour name, your email address and what you write, including any file you attach.
- The website chatEach chat conversation, with the time it started and the page it was opened on. If you ask for a call back, the name, email address and phone number you type.
- ClientsFor a business that becomes a client, the details needed to agree and deliver the work and to send invoices, such as a billing name and address.
- This websiteThe website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The free report page remembers your chosen business goals in your own browser, and that choice stays on your device.
- Website hostingNetlify hosts the website and keeps standard server logs, such as the internet address of each request, to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
The website chat
The chat on the website is answered by an AI assistant. Digital Works keeps a copy of each chat conversation so it can follow up questions and improve the chat. The messages are sent to Anthropic, the maker of the Claude AI, so it can write the replies. If you ask for a call back, Digital Works keeps the name, email address and phone number you type so a member of the Digital Works team can call you.
So the chat stays open when you move to another page, your browser keeps the conversation in that tab only. It is cleared when you close the tab or press Start a new chat. Your name, email address and phone number are never kept there.
